It was delicious! I didn’t have brown gravy mix, so I substituted it with chicken gravy mix. We will definitely be fixing this again

Made a few alterations and it was delicious.
1. Rather than using 2 packets of gravy mix I only used one (there was plenty of sauce).
2. I used half an onion rather than onion seasoning (I was out)
3. I left the burgers in the sauce on low with a lid on it for 10-15min to really soak

The flavors were ok, it reminded me of a small meatloaf more than anything. Easy to make at least.

The first time making this might it will take a little longer then you expected but it is so worth it! I added more Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to the meat mix! Also chop up some real onion and mushrooms and sautee those first and remove them from the pan. Then add them as you put in the gravy. I made mashed potatoes and Italian grean for the sides.

This recipe was very delicious. Patties were juicy and tender. I used panko, added an egg, salt and pepper to the meat mixture. Didn’t change a thing to the sauce. Served it with rice! In the past I served them with Demi glace sauce (like Japanese hambāgu), but this was just as good!

This turned out really good. I’m always looking for food that keeps well because I meal prep and reheat it at work for my lunches, and it’s still good the next day! I added about a tablespoon of brown sugar to the gravy and sautéed mushrooms to the whole dish.

I really liked this recipe, but everyone else said it was just ok. The flavor was good and the meat was very juicy and tender cooked this way. A bit of a different take on a classic. Overall I would recommend giving it a try, it just wasn't a huge hit with my family.
