Description
Shwarma is a tantalizing dish that is packed with aromatic flavors. This traditional dish is served either over rice or in a pita. Ingredients for this recipe include boneless skinless chicken breasts, paprika, ground cumin, ground cayenne pepper, garlic salt, lime, garlic, ground black pepper, olive oil, cooking spray, onions, green bell pepper, pita bread, and light sour cream. Fix the meat ahead of time and it is a perfect hearty lunch or quick dinner.

- 2 skinless boneless chicken breasts (medium)
- 1 Tbsp. paprika (ground)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground cayenne
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 lime
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- cooking spray
- 1 onion (cut into half-moons)
- 1 green bell pepper (julienned)
- 2 pita breads
- 1/3 cup light sour cream
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 lime
- salt and ground black pepper

Directions
- Mix the paprika, cumin, cayenne, garlic salt, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, and pepper together. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for approximately 15 minutes.
- Heat cooking spray in a skillet and brown the chicken on both sides. Remove from skillet and let cool. Cut into thin diagonal slices.
- Spray the skillet with cooking spray and saute the onion and pepper, stirring constantly and scraping the bits left from the chicken.
