I made some adjustments, but it turned out delicious! The adjustments included adding another 1/2 lb scallops, using 1 can diced tomatoes after draining, using chopped onions instead of scallions, veggie broth instead of white wine, and half 'n half instead of heavy cream (because I didn't have grape tomatoes, scallions and heavy cream and my husband doesn't like wine in recipes). It's a great recipe to have with family and/or friends, and I'll definitely make it again.
