This delicious shrimp scampi features savory garlic, a rich combination of olive oil and butter, crisp white wine, and it's so easy to prepare!
Ingredients

- 1 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp (medium size, 21/25 count)
- salt
- black pepper
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- olive oil (2-3 tablespoons)
- 2 shallots (minced)
- 6 cloves garlic (pressed through garlic press)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (more if you like it more spicy!)
- 1/2 cup white wine (Sauvignon Blanc is good)
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cup homemade chicken stock (warm, or “Better Than Bouillon” organic, is good)
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 8 oz. spaghetti (or angel hair pasta, cooked according to package instructions, and held warm)
- 1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- shaved Parmesan (for garnish, optional)
