- 150 grams rice noodles (Pad Thai)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp. tamarind paste
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 3/4 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic sauce (chilli)
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 300 grams shrimps
- 1 egg
- 80 grams bean sprouts
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 scallions
- cilantro
- peanuts
- lime wedges
- red pepper flakes

Directions
- Combine sauce ingredients over medium heat until the sugar and tamarind paste have dissolved, and set aside. Add lime juice when off heat.
- Bring water to the boil and turn off the heat. Soak noodles for 5-10 min. Drain, and set aside.
- Heat pan on medium heat. Coat pan in vegetable oil (1-2 tbsp) and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute
