- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 celery stalks (chopped)
- 2 button mushroom (quartered)
- 50 grams smoked sausages (I used spicy Spanish chorizo just because I have it)
- black pepper
- salt
- sugar
- 3 cups vegetable stock (or water)
- 1 mL canned tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 pieces prawn (large, peeled and deveined)
- 100 grams okra (chopped and pre-fried)
- 3 dashes hot sauce (Optional. We love one from Brazil made from Habanero)
- fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish., optional)
