After seeing the one star review below, I just had to take a shot at this because all those ingredients together in theory should be quite flavorful. Only changes I made was I trimmed the tri -tip just a bit leaving a thin but adequate amount of fat on the fatty side, seared the on a gas grill instead of browning it in a pan, I also left out the ancho chili powder which I would have rather added.. But I didn't have any so I added smoked paprika instead. Another possible factor here is I make all my own spice rubs from scratch, but the listed ingredients should yield great results as well, just never skimp on quality. Needless to say, some of the best shredded tri-tip tacos I've made In awhile. 5/5 Would definitely make again, but with the ancho chili next time.

This was just awful. I even added chills and it just had no flavor. My kids at it, but none really liked it. I put it on top of quinoa as well to see if that made it better. No:(
