- olive oil (to coat the pan)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 onion (minced)
- 1 lb. ground turkey (or chicken, or beef, or pork)
- 1 tsp. salt (plus more to taste)
- 1 tsp. pepper (plus more to taste)
- 4 Tbsp. cumin
- 16 oz. bean (any kind of, garbanzo or kidney in my house, drained and rinsed)
- 12 oz. salsa (jarred, I like Trader Joe's Salsa Autentica; Mom likes Pace)
- 28 oz. tomato (or thereabout can/jar/carton of your favorite, stuff, chopped, crushed, sauce, strained, diced)
- hot sauce (A bunch of dashes of your favorite, or around a tablespoon)
- 2 ketchup (long squirts of, maybe around 1/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro (or more to taste)
