this was really good, i did add some ground ginger, lemon, soy sauce, thyme and onion to the meat portion. the broil worked well for the meat, I didn't care for the broil for the veggies

This was a good meal for my sons to learn to cook. They are 18 & 20 yrs. we substituted rosemary for thyme because we had ffesb from the garden. we also let the staek marinate 1 -2 hours. it was simple and good.

steaks were delicious. a really simple and healthy recipe. we substitued brussel sprouts for the broccoli and it paired well.

This was very good. After reading some of the other reviews noting the vegetables cooked faster than the steak, I put them on a separate pan and took them out sooner than the steak. I stuck them back in the warm oven (turned off) to warm a bit again while I cut up the steak . Next time I’ll start the steak first and add the vegetables later.

I made it with smashed potatoes, which my 5 year old liked better and it was a hit.

I cut the stake in stripes and potatoes in half to compensate for the broccoli cooking faster than everything else and it turned out good

I'd give myself 3/5 stars just because i think i over-salted. there were a few details that were a little off, like the pan-size. it took two 9-inch baking pans to hold the contents of this recipe. I also wasnt sure when to cut the steak, but decided to cut beforehand to see the level of cooking (this ended up helping a lot).
Edit 1: 2nd try; just after I opened the oven the temperature DROPPED, common problem it looks like, and the steak looks uncooked. Had to cook an extra 15 minutes after that.

It was good but if you want to maintain more flavor & moisture, do not use stoneware.

Not exactly an easy cleanup. We needed way more seasoning and it was still bland. The steak and potatoes were over cooked and dry. The only thing that cooked well was the broccoli.

This was tasty. To be fair, I completely changed the recipe to suit the tastes of my house. I marinated the steak overnight in Montreal steak seasoning, and I made a different seasoning for the potatoes. This recipe is very flexible and can meet the needs of any family.

The meat eating household members loved this. Made a quick compound butter to top the steak as referenced on the blog. So easy. We will make this again, however my steaks were a bit too thick and I should have removed the broccoli prior to adding the extra cook time.

This turned out excellent! I followed the directions and par bouled the potatoes. The only substitution I made was I broiled it a little late longer. It was delicious!

Vee good. Didn’t slice the steak first though—big mistake. Burned veggies waiting for steak to finish. Will make again, slicing steak first!

potatoes were a little too firm. I need to boil them longer. otherwise - yum.

Coat both the sides of the steak with freshly ground salt and pepper to form a nice crust. The steak was very rare with the reccomended cooking time, so we added another minute to finish it up. Let the steak set for ~5 minutes before slicing so that all the juice doesn't run out! Anyone complaining about the steak not being seasoned doesn't know how to cook steak. It only takes salt and pepper!!!!
