- 12 oz. sausage (pre-cooked link, cut into rounds, like pork or turkey kielbasa, chicken sausages, Andouille, smoked sausage, etc.)
- 3 yukon gold potatoes (medium, cut into ½" cubes)
- 8 oz. mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 bell peppers (seeded and diced into 1" pieces)
- 1 onion (diced into 1" pieces)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. fresh herbs (like cilantro, parsley, dill, or basil)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

It turned out great!
Lots of flavor, quick and easy to make.
I cut all the vegetables into edible size pieces. I then added olive oil, salt and pepper and any other spices I might like in a mixing bowl. then mixed it all together. Throw it all into your heated cast iron skillet.
When your vegetables are almost done add the kielbasa and cover with some sauerkraut. Ten minutes later you’ll be loving your tongue.

Great, my family and I really loved this “modified” recipe! Since my last attempt at making a
“potatoes, garlic, peppers & mushrooms” recipe on our stovetop range I had a difficult time getting the potatoes browned and not burnt I thought I try this recipe and I’m really glad I did....it was a great meal loved by all 7 of us! I’d highly recommend this recipe and, I think,
