This recipe always impresses, everyone loves good Swedish meatballs on a cold wintery night - ultimate Scandinavia comfort food.
The last time I cooked this recipe I experimented by adding about 100mls of Italian Marsala wine into the sauce as it was simmering with the meatballs. The wine gave the dish a wonderful and subtle complexity to the dish - Im sure the Swedes won’t mind :)

My husband was a fan of the sauce/gravy, but I really wasn't. The meatballs were amazing, though. I left some out of the gravy and just ate with ketchup or alone. The flavor was amazing. I'll be making again, but I'll try to tweak the sauce.

Did not dissapoint. I looked forward to making this all week. Did not modify, paired with egg noodles and Sunday night football:) Comfort food at its finest!
