This is a fantastic recipe. For the sauce I added a dessertspoon of cornflour with the brown sugar on the top, and an extra 1/2 cup of water to make extra sauce. If you are camping this makes a brilliant steamed pudding on a metho/gas stove. I used one container ( rather than ramekins) and the cook time was about 40 minutes on 150 degrees celcius oven, or at boil point with steamer. Aldi has brilliant ginger ice cream that is da bomb with this recipe. However, good quality vanilla is next best.
