- 4 Tbsp. chopped cilantro (finely)

- 3 tsp. achiote powder (2-, ground, or annatto)
- 1 tsp. chili powder (adjust to your preference)
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 cup seafood broth (or fish, can also use chicken/vegetable broth)
- 6 oz. tomato paste (1 can)
- 1/2 lb. fish (cleaned and cut into medium chunks – I used cod)
- 1/2 lb. mussels (cleaned and beards removed)
- 1/2 clams (cleaned)
- 1 lb. shrimp (medium to jumbo sized, shells on or off)
- 1/4 lb. calamari (cleaned and sliced)
- 1/4 lb. bay scallops
- 16 oz. spaghetti (/1 lb, or fettuccine pastas, cooked according to package instructions)
