This is also made with Special K cereal and then called Special K bars. Same recipe and both so yummy!

All stores were sold out of rice krispees and butterscotch chips so I substituted chocolate crispy rice cereal and salt caramel chips. I will make it this way all the time. Quick, easy and excellent

Good ole Iowa scotcheroos!!! I brought them with me from Iowa to michigan 18 years ago and I have changed lives with every batch! I always double the topping though, I have also put it Heath toffee bits as well.
