I only used 1/4 cup sugar. And I use buttermilk instead of milk. I only used 1/4 tsp salt. I also added a splash of vanilla and I cut them out instead of wedges. They always turn out well. Oh yes, before I put them in the oven, I put the baking sheet with scones in the freezer for 10 minutes. A tip from a friend.

So easy to make. I added a tablespoon of cinnamon and then sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on top before baking. So Good!

Light and soft texture on the inside and a crisp finish. I added grated cheese to the mix before kneading and brushed a bit of milk and egg over the top before baking. Although I like the taste, I might use a little bit less sugar next time ;)

My scones turned out great. I sprinkled a little bit of coconuts on top. Kids loved it. I’m the Greatest dad on earth😎

So fluffy!!!!
The dough was very sticky but once I got them on a tray they were fine.

Really easy! Lovely light scones with a subtle flavour and texture. Perfect for adding whatever you’d like to the batter or post baking! Now I’m off to perfect clotted cream and my life will be complete!

Followed the instructions as given but they turned out a bit dry and crumbly.

So light and fluffy! My husband typically doesn't like scones, but this had a nice crust on the outside, with a light, fluffy inside. Highly recommend this recipe!

I made this with my pre-k class for Valentine's day last year and it was a hit. I loved it so much that I came home and made it again with my children. They loved it and asked for it for the next few weeks! We experimented with putting strawberries or raisins in the batter. That was good but I like it best with fresh strawberries and clotted cream (used a great yummly recipe by ALLRECIPES)

Lovely easy recipe and really came out delicious. I added cheese into the recipe and also baked it for longer.

They are really good, I added some fresh rosemary to add some pizzazz, and they turned out great. Great to make in the winter months
