  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese (Parmesan)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (or white)
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup green onion (slice, optional)
