Loved it! Mine was a bit salty and I would hold back on the sage a bit next time but it was fantastic

Next time I will use “Better than Boullion” rather than Imagine Veg Broth… more savory yet. Onions, garlic, mushrooms in that order. Then wine. Then herbs. Then flour and nut yeast. Last, the liquid.

The components of this recipe are good, but it just isn’t as savory as I was hoping. It needed some more herbs, and it tasted really weak/flat, despite my using pan sauces from the meat I cooked and some really rich broth. I think part of it was because of the flour/broth slurry - I think if I had cooked the flour with the veggies before adding the wine and broth, maybe that would have helped round out the flavor more. For me, it was just okay.

So good and easy to make!! I used red wine instead of white since it’s what I had on hand and it tasted great. I put the sauce over mashed potatoes and macaroni and loved it!

absolutely delicious! used it on top of a mushroom wellington and garlic mashed potatoes! I am sure they will be delicious over biscuits too. Easy to follow and taste even better the next day!

Turned out great. Only had a sweeter white wine on hand but it was still delicious! It was a great alternative to turkey gravy.
