- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 lb. green beans (trimmed)
- 1/2 cup fat free reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp. lemon juice (optional)

Directions
- Melt Promise® Buttery Spread in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minute. Add broth and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until green beans are crisp-tender, about 6 minutes.

I caramelized the onions for about 10 minutes, then browned 4 cloves of garlic. I also toasted 1/2 cup of walnuts, added 2-3 tablespoons of lemon. Keith loved it.

Delicious, very easy to make. I had some baby potatoes on hand so I added them to my green beans and it cooked up great. I find this to be the best way to cook green beans, will definitely try again. Thanks!
