- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. caster sugar

- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch (+ 2 T water, mix well)
- 1 1/2 cups water (or light chicken stock)
- oil (to fry)
- spring onions (cut finely)
