I have not eaten it yet but the crescent roll dough is not fun to deal with. I also noticed today while shopping that they now make tubes of the crescent dough in sheets but it is only an 8oz container. i wonder if the dimensions are the same . If the recipe is enjoyed, I may try the sheets next time. Beyond that the steps are easy to follow. I actualy used the grease from browning the sausage to saute the onion and pepper instead of olive oil.
I am going to try the sheets of dough next time...the dough was thick on sides and did not cook evenly, I hope if it is thinner it will cook better.
The dish was a delicious though I would warm up some tomatoe sauce to use for dipping or as a topping whatever the eater would prefer.
