  • 8 ounces breakfast sausage (removed from casings)
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 ounces low moisture mozzarella cheese (shredded, 2 oz. per 1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (2 oz. per 1/2 cup)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange a rack to the lowest position in the oven.

    Really simple to make. Mine overflowed a littlr, but my pie crust was shallow. Next time I will use a deep pie crust.
