fantastic! I cooked 3 strips of bacon and then 1 lbs of sausage and then followed everthing to the T. Just like biscuits and gravy should taste. please do not skip the butter you will be missing out. This is my go to for the gravy

This was a huge hit at my house. My kids loved it and I couldn’t get biscuits made fast enough for them.

Just cross checking my own recipe and this is exactly how I make mine. Adding butter gives it a little something extra.
Replacing the sausage with one pound of bacon is always delicious too, although you only need about 2-3 tablespoons of bacon fat (drain off the rest) before adding the flour. I also crumble the bacon as well.
