Flavor was great, but 3/4 c of heavy cream made it too watery and I didn’t want to reduce it any further and risk burning it

Incredibly easy to make and so delicious. I used it as a drizzle for a cheesecake I made. I plan on using it on ice cream next.

Yummy!
Was worried when the sugar was crystallizing even with using the brush dipped in water but eventually it became liquid and turned out great.

i was itching to make Carmel Sauce and everything was perfect until I went to add the heavy cream. My helper had used 2% milk instead and when added to the mixture turned it back to almost complete liquid. it took me around 2 hours, but i was able to end up with a Carmel with beautiful dark color and a light vanilla taste. very very good.

Quick and easy with Great photos and directions. For some reason we can't get salted Carmel drinks at our Starbucks, so I decided to make my own. I'm not a fan of Carmel, but my wife is. She says the Carmel and the drinks I made from it are very good. As it was explained to me by my wife.... Happy Wife, Happy Life. So I give this recipe 5 stars.

Perfect!! I followed the recipe completely as written. It took a little longer to brown but probably because I used a slightly lower heat. I'd rather cook longer than burn and burning happens so quickly. Thanks for sharing. This is the easiest and best recipe for caramel I've ever used and it doesn't need corn syrup.
