- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. blood orange juice
- 1 blood orange (small to medium)
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 oz. dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1/3 cup blanched almonds (slivered)
- sea salt (Pink, for sprinkling the tops, feel free to substitute any milder variety of sea salt. I buy Trader Joe's because it's $3 and salty but not abrasively so)
