I followed the recipe as written except I substituted oatmeal for the bread crumbs to accomodate my wifes gluten free diet. This is an excellent recipe, and I will make it again.

Love this recipe. I actually have been making this for years, it's a go too in my house. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I always use ground venison not beef. Only because that's what I usually have on hand and it's alot less fatty. Also I double the gravy so that I have enough to go over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

Great recipe! Added Cumin and Garlic to taste. Paired with French Style Green Beans, Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes. This recipe is a keeper. Great comfort food for cold and chilly nights!

This is the first time I've made this and it turned out great! Very easy to make. Next time I think I'll put some mushrooms and onions in with it.
