Pinto beans have great flavor. Like that I can put everything in the crockpot. Have made this recipe several times.

Fabulous! Love this recipe because the beans still have their shape and texture and lots of flavor! I use half chicken broth and water and add a ham hock but not soaking the beans makes this a quick morning prep for an easy dinner with some corn bread!
