This is a classic in our house. I never made it but my sister-in-law made it for every child’s birthday and child occasion. My son is 32 and he still loves the layered Jell-O. She even brought it camping cool to perfection. Her layers were white and coloured and they came out super easily out of her 9 x 13 pan she’s a genius with the layered jello: this is a classic in our house. Lot of time to put into this one, nearly 4 hours with all the cooling. The Milk layers do not come out white, just a lighter version of the jello it was mixed with. One kid loved it, the other took one bite and refused any more because he didn’t like the texture of the milky layers. Also found it difficult to get it out of the glass mold and into serving bowls without it falling apart.

This was interesting. When adding the left over jello to the condensed milk, it doesn’t turn out like the picture at all. Obviously, the milk layer looks like a pastel version of the jello layer. The consistency and flavor is odd as well, but tend to be picky about jello. It was a cool experiment to do with my toddler learning the colors of the rainbow and being able to taste the colors in a fun dessert.
