tasty soup for sure, and I will add this to my rotation. I made it with the sweet sausage. I used the salt it called for, but next time might start with less as the sausage and pancetta bring a lot of flavor.

I wanted to make lentils a new way. I’m so glad I tried this recipe. Best lentil soup I’ve ever made.

First time eating lentils. Been looking for an easy recipe and saw this one. Really enjoyed it. Doubled the pancetta and forgot the potatoes, next time I’ll remember potatoes.

I doubled the pancetta and used tomato paste and a can of diced tomatoes. Saw a previous review and used coconut milk when more liquid was needed. Delicious, easy, quick for soup. Will be added to soup rotation.

Best lentil soup I ever made. Added more veggies, less stock. Plus some cubed ham. So hearty!

Amazingly delicious! I did not include the pancetta! I doubled the recipe and added some water in the end to reduce the heat from the spicy sausage.

it was good, just had to add more seasoning for our taste. And I add a little chopped spinach as well.

Perfect recipe for a hearty soup. I always make it with the Italian sausage, takes it to the next level.

Delicious! Everyone loved it! It’s rich, and lovely, on a cold evening; as well as it’s great if you want something really filling. All my guys loved it! Highly recommend!
My notes: I doubled the pancetta for a little extra oomph; and I recommend using the hot Italian sausage over the sweet (we tried both).

Turned out wonderfully! My golden potatoes were kind of small so I double that and I just used a pound of zesty hot pork sausage that was also so good! Loved it!
