It came out perfectly done and nice and light with a nice crust. I used 2 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup Vital Wheat flour.

Easy to prepare and after double raise the finished loaf was amazing. Great crust and inner texture. Perfect for meats, cheese, or simply olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping.

I was worried it didn’t rise properly, and I’m still not sure if it should have risen more. But the final product turned out amazing! I cooked it in my Emile Henry loaf pan, covered, and then removed the lid for the last 10 min. It was gone too quick to take a picture!

Everyone liked it. I was told to save the recipe so you know that means it’s good.

I’ve made this three times in the last two weeks. I am taking care of a family member in Arizona after their surgery and they do not have a stand mixer. It was nice to find this recipe and I could not believe it was so simple and tasted this good! The French toast the next day is also excellent!
