- 1/2 cup grated coconut (freshly)
- 2 onions (or 3 medium sized ones, sliced)
- 10 black peppercorns
- 3 sprigs curry leaves
- 3 inches pandan leaf (cut into large pieces)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp. ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp. curry powder (Maldivian roasted, home made or shop bought)
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. tumeric powder
- 8 cardamon (green, pods)
- 2 inches cinnamon (piece)
- 600 mL water
- 3 tsp. dried coconut (powder, Or use 60 ml packed coconut milk)
- 1/4 scotch bonnet (or a few green chillies slit in half lenght wise, about 3)
- 100 grams tuna fish (thinly sliced smoked, optional)
