I made this on a stove top instead of a slow cooker and it was fantastic. I halved this recipe and had plenty for a family of 5.

We loved this. I modified it to be made on the stovetop. I halved the entire recipe, except the heavy cream, I quartered that. I also added paprika to the top.

It turn out great! I added more (w. cream) and salt/pepper, and I added paprika to topper.

It came out so great! I changed it up just a little. I used frozen sweet corn, and cooked it on the stove instead of using a crockpot. I left out the sugar, and then I added fresh jalapenos and topped it with crispy bacon. Yum!

I didnt use a slow cooker but it worked out well cooking time was only about an hour!
