- 4 figs (ripe, I used Mission Figs that my brother Rand brought me from California.)
- 8 slices goat cheese
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar (good quality)
- 2 Tbsp. amber (or light agave nectar, Can also use honey, but it's not as South Beach Diet friendly.)
- salt
- black ground pepper
