Awesome recipe - I used our smoked bacon and this was turned out to be an amazing recipe with the pecans and maple syrup!

Wonderful! I merged this recipe with another by adding some dried cranberries. I plumped the cranberries for just a few minutes in some hot water to soften them. Drain the cranberries well and add to the mixture.

Outstanding dish! As others have said, this can be simplified by just putting Brussels on pan with bacon grease and omitting olive oil. I already had some roasted pecans so that even made it faster. I used a special ghost pepper maple syrup that was fantastic. Will definitely make this again!

I’ve made this a few times, it’s become my go to side dish to bring for Thanksgiving dinner. It’s easy and really good. As many have stated before me, I cook the sprouts in the same pan as the bacon and just use the grease from the bacon and omit the olive oil. Watch those pecans , just burnt mine writing this! 🤦♀️😆

Entire family loved it! Didn’t read the directions beforehand and instead just tossed all the ingredients together (used precooked bacon from Costco) and baked it all on a big stoneware pan in the oven. It turned out great. Make sure you separate some of the outer leaves so you get some nice crispy bits in it. So good!!

This is one of my favorite recipes. I omit the pecans. Also, I do not pour the rendered bacon fat into a bowl and change the foil. I simply put the brussel sprouts right onto the same foil the bacon cooked on , add olive oil, and season with the salt and pepper, and mix. After the 20 minutes (stirring halfway), then I transfer to serving dish and stir in the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar and top with bacon.

It was fine but I got the bacon a little bit overcooked. The instructions could have flown better and been clearer.

I used agave nectar instead of maple syrup and cooked on grill (instead of oven, at same temperatures). I roasted nuts & cooked bacon on stove. It turned out great! My dad loved it with grilled garlic & herb tilapia for Father's Day.
