Krissy's Kitchen 😊🍽😊 a year ago
Turned out great. Doubled the recipe for a 10lb. chicken but next time I will not double the cayenne pepper. I would only use a teaspoon instead. Making it again tonight with the lessened cayenne. 😋

really good recipe. the rub gave it moist inside and a good taste. i underdid the cayenne pepper from recipe. next time will add right amount for little more kick

my husband and i enjoyed the moist roasted chicken. i add cayenne pepper to recipe because i prefer a spicier taste. the sugar in recipe gave the chicken a juicy taste

It was a little too sweet for my liking. I also only used 1 tsp of cayenne and I thought that was plenty (only add two if you like it "hot"). Once you smear butter on the chicken you won't be able to actually "rub" the dry rub on (although, I should've known better- it just stuck on my hands) so I recommend to sprinkle it on. The cooking temp/time directions were good though, it came out moist. At best as a whole this recipe was meh.

This turned out great! There was a very good taste and very moist. I put the rub on the chicken and wrapped it in tin foil, put it on the grill for for about an hour and a half until the temperature reached 180 degrees. My husband couldn't get enough. I will definitely make again.

It turned out delicious and super juicy! I’ve made this twice now. The second time I added 2.5 tps of salt and broiled 10 mins extra.

My aunt who's a great cook demanded the recipe after she ate this chicken. Need I say more?

It was excellent. Juicy with crispy skin. Had to keep an extra 10 minutes in the oven.

We put ours in the slow cooker still had great flavors and was juicy just not as crispy as the picture. Maybe we will put it in the oven next time

Fantastic! Even my picky son, who doesn't like anything spicy, enjoyed it. So easy, and we will definitely make this again!

I’ve made it three times already. It’s my go to meal for eating on for the week when we’re busy with football practice. It’s so flavorful and juicy. It’s just the right amount of spicy and sweet mixed. I’ve fixed a whole chicken in the crock pot before and it’s a bit dry and this in the oven is never dry!

Good rub, but too much cayenne for us. Next time, I will reduce cayenne to 1 tsp. And increase garlic to 2 tsp. Braised last 30 mins.
