- 4 oz. melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar (finely, I used a microplane)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 shallot (small, thinly sliced)
- 10 oz. cherry tomatoes (roughly 2 cups, halved)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme
- salt
- pepper
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 oz. butter (cold, cut in ½” cubes)
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 2 lb. cherries (I used Bing cherries. If you are lucky enough to have sour cherries you can use those and simply omit the lemon juice)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 lemon (zest and juice)
