- 8 oz. roasted red peppers (jar )
- 1 diced onion (medium )
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. butter oil
- 2 tsp. dried basil (I use Penzeys.)
- 1 bay leaf
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tsp. red pepper flakes (Optional, but I like things spicy.)
- bread crumbs (toasted, or croutons for garnish-optional)
