    Turned out delicious. When I first pulled them out the oven they felt kinda soggy, but I let them sit for a couple minutes and they crisped up. I burnt my fingers a couple times because I kept eating them straight out the oven. They were even better than the flat iron steak I made alongside. Thx!

    The recipe in itself is fantastic, and I've made it several times now. I think, however, that I found a way to next-level it. I used Japanese sweet potatoes, which have a beautiful purple skin and yellow flesh, and are sweeter than your typical yam, acting as a perfect foil for the chilli powder. Second, substitute chipotle chilli powder for half of what the recipe calls for. I also cut the resultant wedges in half horizontally, which I think helped with the crispiness.

    Simple & tasty. I roasted them for a little less than 20 minutes as they were starting to burn. Doubled the chilli powder for extra spice.

    It was delicious! I cut them in to smaller wedges than suggested and tossed in a bowl before laying them on the sheet. i like mime extra crispy so I let them go a little longer. I may turn the broiler on a minute the next time i cook them. A new family favorite!

    I’ve made this dozens of times and love it. I enjoy sweet potato recipes that are savory like this one, because the sweet potatoes are already sweet!

    I couldn't make it as good as it is shown in the picture but it turned out pretty good. Although I didn't use an oven, I did the exact same process but fried it in a pan on the stove.

    Made with smoked paprika instead of chili powder. It was good but needed a bit more oil I think. Will make again with that adjustment

    Great! I added paprika instead of chili powder. I had a very large sweet potato, so I sliced it into more pieces than the recipe calls for. (Also had to microwave the sweet potato for 1 minute - with wet paper towel around it - so that I could actually get my knife through it.)

    The taste was great. I would need to cook them longer and cut them thinker next time. I had read a few commits to make them thinner and I made them too thin.

    really good! cut them into thinner strips and baked for 20 min more than it said and flipped them three times. still didnt turn out as crispy as we wouldve liked, but we will still make again for sure. very tasty.
