- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (used Penzey's dried minced)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 loaf french bread
- butter (softened)
- 16 oz. sour cream (use light)
- 3 cups cheddar cheese (sometimes use mexican blend)
