I used a gourmet blend that I got from Costco of gold and red potatoes, but otherwise followed the recipe. I made them twice. The first time I used a Pyrex baking dish and there was more than one layer of potatoes- so those came out delicious but more like steamed potatoes. The next time I made it, I only used one layer and baked on a sheet pan - they came out as described in the recipe. Enjoyed both tremendously and my guest couldn’t stop eating them.

Exactly as photographed. Big hit with my family & guests. It was very simple and yet tasted extremely elegant. I will be keeping this in our "favorites" recipe box to make many more times.
