This week we pulled fresh sweet potatoes from our garden We baked these for about 45 minutes at 400 the first batch was a tad dry but tastee. And followed the recipe
The second batch we kicked it up a notch
Bacon drippings instead of olive oil
Trees Knees Spicy maple syrup
And added splash of bourbon and made 5 times what the recipe called for
Also it was dripping and turned out more candid sweet potatoes but they sold out faster than the first batch couldn’t even take a photo needless to say it was a hit
Next batch We will add bacon

Pretty good. Kids liked but didn’t love. Yummy alternative for sweet potatoes.

MUCH better than those awful candied yams with marshmallows! This is my go-to yam recipe for holidays.

No one in the family liked this... and we all love sweet potatoes. Way too much cinnamon! Would have preferred plain roasted or casserole topped with marshmallows

Made this as a snack - admittedly I burnt it a little, but it almost made them like candy.

The potatoes weren’t crispy (even with extra baking time), but still delicious. It was a great side with ham.

Its was fantastic! My husband and son liked it and they don’t like anything that is good for them. Didn’t have real maple syrup but ms. Butters worth worked just fine just added a little more. Will definitely make again.

I’m so confused with all the good reviews on this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and it was just such a weird taste, not in a good way. I won’t be making these again.

Excellent, delish and healthy recipe and so easy to make. It’s going to be my go to sweet potato dish for the holidays

Great recipe!
I added some chili powder to the seasoning. I also cooked this in a cast iron skillet at 450. Nice sear, and chewy on one side, with a mushy middle. I will definitely make again.

Enjoyed the sweet potatoes! Added honey to it also but I did not make crispy Still good just softer on the mouth for little ones. Going to use the leftovers for a breakfast tomorrow.
