- 2 Tbsp. shallots (chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (fresh)
- 1/4 cup broth (veggie, or 2 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons veggie broth, low sodium if nedded)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt

- 15 oz. white beans (cooked, drained and rinsed, about 1 can)
- 1/4 cup broth (veggie)
- 2 Tbsp. pine nuts (see note)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Italian flat leaf parsley (fresh chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
