Did find this good, but bland. Added some cinnamon and cumin. Roasted the squash with 4 cloves of garlic, 1 onion, and 3 carrots. Next time would roast on baking tray so it doesn't take as long. Did add whipping cream at the end.

I had some chicken soup left over and used that broth. roasted the onions, garlic and an apple w the squash and blended in blender w broth. Added salt and chopped sage w some croutons and it hit the spot.

Made it for Thanksgiving. Tripled the batch and used one white onion based on reviews. I also added pumpkin seeds as a topper. Guests loved it.

Super yummy! Will probably roast with a little less liquid next time for more carmelization.

Adding one whole onion completely ruined the soup- all you can taste is onion! Very disappointed after it taking 2 hours only to be inedible

Simple ingredients done right. A bit time consuming to make due to the long roasting process but you can make double and freeze for a later date.
