This cake was so easy and delicious! my family loves it! was a Big hit on Christmas Eve with the Grandkids and the big kids too 😊. just a hint, when making the icing, it calls for 1/4 cup heavy cream. I used about 1/2 cup heavy cream. the icing was way too stiff. We like a more creamy icing.*ALSO NEXT TIME I MAKE THIS CAKE I WILL EITHER DOUBLE THE ICING OR MAKE 1.5 Of the mixture. My family likes a lot of icing. You could only improve this cake by adding more to it 😁

Delicious, moist and very chocolatey! Also super easy to make. Don’t forget your Bundt pan!

This was such a delicious cake!! I made it for my son’s birthday and everyone loved it!! The frosting was amazing, too! I used 2 round cake pans so I doubled the frosting recipe..:glad I did because the doubled recipe was the perfect quantity of frosting to frost/decorate the cake. I will definitely be using this recipe for future events.

Good easy cake to make but I think I’d leave out the chocolate chips or exchange them for Milk Chocolate ones

This was rich and extremely moist, exactly as pictured. I had a little trouble getting it out of the Bundt pan, maybe I should have loosed the edges, or just waited longer before trying to shake it out. I do plan to make this again.

At first my family wasn’t sure how they felt about the chocolate chips incorporated into the cake, until I served it warm with ice cream. It is now a family favourite, very moist, easy to make and over the top chocolatey. It freezes great too!

turned out great. The best sweet cooking I ever accomplished. Unfortunately the chocolate chips that were incorporated in the dough got deposited in the boutom of the pan, but other than that it tirned out great. When servwd chilled it's quite delicious. Thank you for the clarification instructions!

Delicious and super easy to make! I made this for my sister’s birthday (she’s a total chocoholic and has a massive sweet tooth) and she loved it. I left out the chocolate chips, but the rest of the recipe was perfect.

This wasn’t quite the level of amazing I was hoping for from the reviews, but it was still a good, easy, chocolate cake. It serves a lot of people and keeps well at room temperature, so it’s great for parties, potlucks, bake sales, etc. I agree that the chocolate chips on the top are not a great addition. Mini chips might be better, but I haven’t tried.

Delicious. Made it many times. It is my "go to" if I don't time for scratch. i use two 9" pans buttered with parchment circle on bottom. Baked about 30 minutes. Very moist and chocolatey. I never frost it. Even coworkers agree it doesnt need frosting...it's that good.

My daughter and I made this for her dads birthday party. It was very moist and delicious. Icing was great. The best part was that it was a simple recipe that she could follow and pretty much make by herself. Which is great for a 12 year old.

Super moist and delicious. Everyone in my office absolutely loved this cake!!!! i used a canned chocolate icing and microwaved it for 20 seconds and drizzled the cake until it was covered, sprinkled the chocolate chips and dded Hershey's squares. Best best best chocolate cake recipe ever :)

fabulous, moist and great flavor. my fav frosting is cream cheese, butter, coco powder, vanilla and a little confectioners sugar...not too sweet and perfect for this cake

Was pleased with the results, except I would skip the chocolate chips on top of frosting. It added a not so pleasant crunch where you didn't need or want it. The cake itself was moist and rich and delicious! Will make it again
