- 6 tomato sauce (diced tomatoes or homemade tomato pulp by blending soft tomatoes.)

- 1 salt (add to taste)
- 1 oregano
- 1/2 black pepper
- 3 bay leaves
- 5 cups hot water
- 1 packet seasoning (Achiote, gives yellow color and flavor optional)
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped cilantro
