Rice In A Pressure CookerAS RECEITAS LÁ DE CASA
If you use it for no other purpose, a pressure cooker is worth it just for cooking rice, in less than a third of the time as traditional stovetop methods. You can also add seasonings such as garlic, chopped onion, and bay leaves, which are used in this recipe. Toast the rice in this mixture to bring out its flavor before adding the water and allowing it to do its job. The actual cooking time will depend on the type of rice being used as well as the number of servings.
- Put water to warm until it starts to boil (kettle).
- In the pressure cooker, put the chopped garlic and the chopped onion and bay leaves.
- Sprinkle with olive oil generously.
