- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil (or olive oil)
- 400 grams sirloin (good quality, or scotch fillet steak)
- salt
- pepper
- 5 cups japanese rice (cooked)
- 1 piece nori (cut into fine shreds)
- 1/2 tsp. wasabi (or horseradish, or 1 tsp prepared wasabi stem, to serve)
- teriyaki (Red wine, Makes 600ml)
- 250 mL light soy sauce
- 200 mL shiraz (Australian)
- 200 mL mirin
- 80 grams sugar

The meat turned out AMAZING. The teriyaki is also highly recommended. Something i did to give a little change was to make it like a Bibimbap. In that i had an assortment of veggies surrounding the meat and garlic. I used bok choy, shredded carrots, diced mushrooms, and fried tofu made like the garlic but tossed into the teriyaki before the finished bowl. 5/4 would highly recommend
