    I made these for Valentine's breakfast. We all enjoyed them immensely. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of the butter. I used salted butter as that is what I had on hand. My only comment would be to halve the glaze. The recipe made too much and I now have a container full of glaze in my fridge. It was so good I am sure I will use it on something. Thanks for a wonderful breakfast.

    Instead of making it from scratch I found red velvet waffle and pancake mix at Trader Joes and I made the creme cheese frosting from scratch taste just as good!
