I made it for Valentine’s Day. You would think with the icing it would be over the top sweet, but it was just fine. We just made small slices because it is rich and decadent. I used the pan steam method instead of the water bath and the crust came out fine. Baking time was longer than 75 minutes, but it is noted in the recipe that it could take longer. Making it the day before was an excellent tip do to the cooling needed.
