Very tasty and simple. Rich tomato flavour. Definitely needs the sugar to balance it out. I may add more coconut milk next time to reduce the tomato intensity. I added butternut cubes for added texture and goodness. Will def make again.

So easy to prepare once you get your hands on the ingredients, but it tastes incredible and it seriously is easy to make.

Very good. I used curry powder instead of curry paste and didn’t have any cilantro but it still tastes great. A slightly different color than the picture

Really yummy! Had to change out the garan masala for 3/4 tbsp of cumin and 1/4 tbsp of allspice as a substitute and used heavy cream. Very good!
Be sure to prepare the split lentils as directed on package.

Very good. Very easy to make and had it with some brown rice and it hit the spot.

Great! Wish it included instructions on how best to cook the lentils. We cooked them in vegetable broth and kept checking until they softened, about 15 min.

Thought this tasted like an authentic Indian dish. Definitely needed some extra spice. I also made lamb. So the brown rice, lentils, & lamb were perfect together. Just add some extra spice.

My boyfriend said this is one of the best meals I’ve ever cooked for us- first attempt too! While it was simmering, I added a few more spices as it tasted a little too bland at first (garlic powder, cumin, 2x more curry powder, chili powder, corriander, a dash more tumeric and some cinnamon). Don’t be shy with the cayenne if you like heat. It also needed a few good shakes of salt until I was satisfied with the taste! Will definitely be adding this to our meal rotation.

I've made this recipe many, many times, it always turns out well. I'm making it now and freezing it, so we can take it to Germany to share with friends. I did it last year and everyone loved it.

This is so yummy! I tasted it at the end and it really needed salt (FYI) so I sprinkled some in and mixed it up before serving over jasmine rice. Delicious! Can't wait for the leftovers.
