- 16 oz. chard (leaves, fresh, cut into crosswise strips)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh minced garlic (finely)
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup pasta (cooking water, remove before draining pasta)
- 1/2 cup Pecorino Romano cheese (coarsely grated)
- ground black pepper (fresh, to taste)
